Atwater Brewery, the 83rd largest Brewers Association-defined craft brewery and the fifth-largest craft brewery in Michigan, has sold out to Molson Coors and will become part of their Tenth And Blake U.S. “crafty beer” business unit. With Atwater becoming a Big Beer brand, Michigan now has one less craft brewery. Atwater Brewing was founded 1997 and in the Summer of 2019 launched a line of hard seltzers called Spiked Sparkling Water.
