Anheuser-Busch InBev decided to pay a one-time $20 million fee to Craft Brew Alliance rather than buy out the remaining 68.7% shares of CBA for about $328 million. AB InBev already owns 31.3% of CBA and August 23, 2019, was a contractual deadline to make a qualifying offer to buy out the remaining share.
